Learning Mode:

  1. Via traffic signal controller, the data of red light remaining time can be sent to the count-down controller, and the display starts counting down until zero (in seconds).
  2. To the next red light cycle and then to accept and display the data of seconds via traffic signal controller.
  3. Using signal cycle detection, after two times of the same cycle confirmations, the seconds display in the third time.
  4. If green man signal interruption up to 1 second via traffic signal controller, it is regarded as a non-continuous signal, and the learning module will re-record green man signal time.

Communication Mode:

  1. Traffic signal controller can real-time control the count down timer.
  2. Does not appear when manual operation, full red power on or flashing.

Walking Green Man Counter Has to Stop in The Following Conditions:

  1. No data received via traffic signal controller.
  2. An error data was received.

Walking Green Man Count Down Timer:

  1. The countdown starts at remaining 99 seconds (including).

When Communication Is Inoperative or No Communication Data Is Received:

  1. Pedestrian automatically changes from real-time mode to learning mode.
  2. The remaining seconds are displayed after learning two times of the same cycle confirmations.

When Traffic Signal Controller Starts Green Light:

  1. Green lights shows "Walking man".
  2. Count down timer start countdown.

When Traffic Signal Controller Starts Yellow and Red Light:

  1. Red light shows "Static man".

Walking Man Pattern:

  1. Consisting of seven (including) or more different patterns, using persistence of vision to produce an animation.

When Traffic Signal Controller Starts Green Light, Walking Man Is Presented in Fast and Slow Mode:
